6 months post marriage…

Ta-da! We made it, and we are not yet with child, or pet.

Lots has happened, let’s see:

  • Work
  • My face problem came back with a vengeance
  • We bought the new Xbox
  • That’s pretty much it.

We spend a lot of time cooking over on SkinnyCookProblems, and we have a Dinner Club with two other couples that got married on each side of us in May. We talk about what we learned about marriage each week, and it helps us learn and grow with each other.

Justin also bought us a Christmas tree this weekend. And has already put it up. It’s just a baby one. But I like it. I’m normally so bah-humbug about Christmas before Thanksgiving, and I’m not sure why this year I’m like:

I even asked if we could listen to Christmas music while we baked pies today. And I keep having the urge to listen to Christmas music at work. Something is terribly wrong.

I am all in all doing pretty good with Christmas presents this year, so that’s also a pretty solid start.

Yipppeeeeeeeeee okay i don’t have anything else to talk about at the moment so byyeeee. 🙂

Breaking Bad

I’ve spent the last two days doing nothing (packing) and watching this show. I’ve watched nearly two seasons. I need to get out of the house and do something today.

I have zero self-control, so I’ve already read all the buzzfeed articles about the show…But not the ones from yesterday after the episode was released. I’ll try to hold off. But I forsee a lot of staying up late during Freshers week to catch up…Merp.

In other news, my roommate came in last night, and she stayed with me! And my mama and grandma are coming in tonight to help me move in tomorrow.

Oh my gosh, I move in tomorrow.

Proper Tea :)

We worked on a group project this morning at the library (Look, school work!). Then we headed to Karla’s house for her 21st birthday TEA party.

She had a bunch of people over all afternoon and evening. There were sooo many sweets and of course, tea. We had a great time, and made some new friends. YAY! But I wish today was Saturday. I wasted my Saturday…

We even met this really cool guy who now acts in London’s West End, but he used to be in a popular kid band here in Britain. He didn’t acknowledge it ever, and just said that he “worked” when he was younger. There were some girls that were there who where SERIOUSLY fangirling and we had to make Katie “act cool” before she tried to talk to him. Ha

ruined clothes

Last night, I went over to Thomas’ to do my laundry. Mine costs 2 quid to wash and 1 to dry. His is in his flat. However….It’s one of those combo washer/dryers. My mama will know, we haven’t had the best luck with those in the past. Once in Korea, my dad shrunk his shirt so small that it didn’t even fit me.

I found it at long last, and stood outside for 20 minutes because Thomas didn’t answer his phone to come get me, and I didn’t know the other door was open.

My purple trousers (skinny jeans) bled on all of my clothes. My Pancake Breakfast shirt went form green to khaki. Whoops.image

Today, we had our first Marketing class. It was a long lecture hall, and nobody sat in the first HALF of the room. The professor looked like he was a mile away. So weird. Tomorrow I might sit closer. If I arrive on time. I was a minute late. I blame the lady that was trying to get off on the stop I was getting on the bus. I think that 45 minutes should be PLENTY of time to ride the bus. Apparently not.

Our marketing teacher is pretty funny. Except it’s a freshman class. The focus that will be required tomorrow morning will be high…Today class was at 11, but tomorrow it is at 9.

Should get some sleep. 🙂 Bank problems today. That was frustrating. Life.

Today has been long. Last night, Reid and I realized we had only been gone from home for 10 days. That’s crazy.

This morning, I went to get my bus pass, because paying 4,8 quid a day is stupid. Then I went and got a few notebooks at Poundland for my classes, and also thumbtacks for my bulletin board in my flat. Someday I might let you see where I live. Maybe.

Class today was good, it was like microeconomics all over again – we talked about causes of inflation today.

Then we were freeeeee, so I came home, and tried to make lemon chicken for lunch. The chicken stock stuff that I got at the store was very weird, so it almost had an Indian food taste to it. It was still okay, but weird.

I have more to say about today, but I am tired. I’ll catch up tomorrow!
